Vincent was in Nairobi alongside Chapter54-accelerated scaleup IBS, specialists in fraud payment management. Together with French Tech Nairobi, we co‑organised a dedicated Fintech gathering that brought together 40+ industry leaders. The event sparked high‑value conversations around payments, fraud prevention, and scaling trusted financial services across African markets, exactly the kind of operator‑led dialogue Chapter54 exists to foster.

⚙️ Welcoming a new German scaleup in Stuttgart
Vincent and Benjamin travelled to Stuttgart for the onboarding of EKU Power Drives, our newest German scaleup. Active in industrial automation and energy management, EKU Power Drives represents the growing wave of GreenTech companies looking at Africa as a strategic expansion axis. We’re excited to support the team as they explore how their technology can drive efficiency and sustainability across new markets.

🎮 Exploring the future of gaming at AGE 2026 in Lagos
Claire attended AGE 2026 in Lagos, diving into the trends shaping Africa’s fast‑evolving gaming ecosystem. Discussions highlighted how accessibility, scale, and seamless payments are redefining user engagement, particularly through technologies like USSD, which continue to unlock new audiences across the continent. A strong reminder of how local constraints often spark the most scalable innovations.

We were proud to share major news from Kawarizmi Group, AdTech specialists in diaspora audiences and a Chapter54‑supported scaleup, now also one of our perk providers. Kawarizmi has been acquired by Yassir, the leading super‑app operating across North Africa and beyond. It’s a powerful success story and a testament to the ambition, execution, and cross‑continent potential of our alumni.
